The decentralized nature of blockchain isn’t just advantageous for applications in finance; this technology can also be leveraged for creative endeavors such as character development and world-building. Where past mega worlds like Middle Earth, Hogwarts, and the Star Wars Galaxy were built by a singular creator at the top, the Runiverse is being built by a decentralized community of thousands of creators worldwide. The Forgotten Runes community builds lore for the characters they own, exemplifying true digital ownership. As popular culture becomes increasingly digital, creations on the immutable blockchain will perhaps be the best way to leave our historical mark on the world.
