In 2011, in the little town of York, England, early Bitcoiners started to play around with ideas on the crypto economy. To make the use of Bitcoin easier, they built the first blockchain search engine and crypto wallet. Today, we know the company as Blockchain.com, which was the earliest crypto wallet ever.
Nicolas Cary, the Co-founder and Vice Chairman of Blockchain.com, has helped develop the crypto space for more than a decade now. His journey started with exploring the Bitcoin blockchain to building Blockchain.com into one of the most valuable crypto startups to date, last valued at $14B. In addition to building, Blockchain.com has actively funded the next generation of web3 companies as well. Nicolas will be on stage with Axios’ reporter, Kia Kokalitcheva, to share his insights on how the ecosystem has developed and where it is going.
