Abstract:
This design solves a specific problem; namely, that it prevents the recorded history of activity (the audit log) from being modified. This design allows each organization to control its own business practices without the overhead involved in requiring consensus on transactions, and yet the audit log will not be able to be modified by that organization or any other.
