5 trillion dollars must be spent on common goods every year to finance the #SDG. Currently, 500 billion are spent. How can we close the gap?
@Stefan Brunnhuber of @ClubOfRome and World Academy of Art & Science sees incredible opportunities in creating a complementary currency system based on blockchain technology that is not limited by systematic problems in its architecture that lead to a gigantic misspending of resources.
We need to reallocate gigantic sums and we won’t be able to do so only with higher taxes or philanthropy as that would cause a global recession. We need this system to create a resilient global economy that is more stable and inherently supports investments that focus on the highest social impact rather than on the highest return on investment.
