Federal Reserve payment system crashed for roughly 3 hours not allowing banks to send or receive wires during this period of time. Jerome Powell and Janet Yellen seem to say there is nothing wrong with the dollar. Can the fed shutdown like this again? What does this mean for the fed wire system as a whole? What does this failure mean for bitcoin and decentralized assets? Should the fed be on the blockchain?
