So basically, a blockchain is a distributed digital ledger or we can say database that is shared among the nodes of a computer network. As a database, a blockchain stores information electronically in digital format. It is Decentralized, Transparency, safe, and immutable.
In a centralized server, our data is not safe enough because if something happens on a single server then our data may be destroyed. But in blockchain, our data is distributed among all nodes so our data always remain safe. This, however, provides a single point of failure. What happens if the electricity at that location goes out? What if its Internet connection is severed? What if it burns to the ground? What if a bad actor erases everything with a single keystroke? In any case, the data is lost or corrupted.
This blockchain code works in such a way that when we add new data to the blockchain then the data is added in blocks And the blocks are added to the existing chain of blocks. Whenever we store new data then the new data will be stored in blocks and the block will be added to the chain.
Its uses:– Banking / Cryptocurrency, Game / Nfts, Smart contracts, Supply chain, Healthcare, Financial services
