Live from Brussels, the Blockchain for Europe Summit 2022 brought together key policymakers and industry representatives to discuss the main trends in the future of the crypto & blockchain sector in the EU.
In this panel debate, our speakers discussed the European Data Strategy initiatives with a focus on the Data Act and its provisions on Smart Contracts. The panellists highlighted the relevance of these provisions for the future of the blockchain industry and urged the European Commission’s representative to ensure the requirements imposed wouldn’t kill this innovation.
