Cryptocurrency is extremely volatile. Investing and trading in cryptocurrencies is very risky, as anything can happen at any given time.
Most of my crypto portfolio is Bitcoin and Ethereum, but I hold many cryptocurrencies, possibly the one discussed in this video.

Look at Ethereum. 7 years after it was introduced, we’re facing major issues with scaling. If scaling would have been considered 7 years ago, we wouldn’t be having this conversation. There wouldn’t be a need for layer 2’s, and most of the other layer 1’s, wouldn’t even exist.
Quantum computing isn’t the only security concern in crypto.
Just last year we seen numerous security issues that totaled $14 billion dollars. There were 6 hacks where the robber stole more than $100 million dollars from an exchange and more than 20 hacks where hackers made off with more than $10 million dollars.

So, what is Cellframe and how exactly do they plan on handling quantum threats?
Cellframe is not a dApp built on top of a blockchain, they are an entire blockchain platform. They make it possible to allow developers to “Build and manage quantum-safe blockchain solutions using the Cellframe SDK”.
This is a layer 1, and in my opinion, layer 1’s are easily the best investments in crypto.
Achieving the platform’s goals are said to be possible using post-quantum encryption and architecture built with Plain C, which ensures the most efficient utilization of CPU and memory. Unlike most blockchains that use a different type of code like Solidity, Cellframe uses Plain C allowing them to build a faster and more scalable blockchain as it utilizes CPU and RAM more efficient.
CELL is a blockchain that’s built from the ground up, and the team aims to develop and implement the most secure and scalable blockchain in existence. In addition, the framework offers plenty of solutions to assure it remains eco-friendly with mining, as there’s low-level requirements for hardware.
With most blockchains, to run a node that powers the entire ecosystem, you gotta have a high-end gaming computer with a dedicated graphics card, that runs 24/7 without ever going to sleep, which ultimately takes a lot of electricity to do so.
