Abstract: In this fast-paced digital world with each growing day, there are numerous uncertainties around privacy, ownership, collaboration and management in various sectors and practices.
However, one such technology could potentially revolutionize the global economy – Blockchain. The current surge in Bitcoin has garnered attention to Blockchain architecture. Although the underlying technology for blockchain is complicated, the primary idea is simple – decentralized data storage so that such data cannot be controlled, manipulated or owned.
In further discussions, I will outline some insights based on business case study analysis about the real-world applications of blockchain technology and potential future disruptions in fields of financial markets, supply chain management, humanitarian aid and even general electoral votes.
