Bitcoin HALVING Event Explained in 30 SECONDS! Learn About Crypto

The Bitcoin Halving is an event that happens every 4 years, or after every 210,000 blocks of validated Bitcoin blockchain. The Halving is a code written into Bitcoin’s source code by creator/s Satoshi Nakamoto, that automatically halves the amount of new bitcoin paid to miners for validating the transactions in a blockchain block. This code counteracts inflation by limiting the rate at which Bitcoin is issued, creating scarcity. The next Bitcoin halving date is April 2024 when the block reward for miners will fall from 6.25, to 3.125 bitcoins per block.
